Riggs started her career WBTW in MYRTLE BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINA. She also spent three years at WCNC-TV in Charlotte. In North Carolina she covered the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50 before getting hired by ESPN to be a part of the first on-air talent of the ACC network.

She has also reported on ACC’S men’s and women’s program at the final four and is an anchor on sports center, ESPN’s flagship news and Information program. In August 2019,Kelsey joined ESPN’s ACC network as a studio host, and sideline reporter. In 2023, she was named the new host of ACC huddle, a popular show on network.
